We’ve been having some fantastic success with a new DirectX 1-7 to DirectX 11 wrapper called dgVoodoo2. If you’re struggling to run an older DirectX game on your Windows 8 PC you should definitely give this software a try. You can read our tutorial on dgVoodoo2 here.
Thanks to this great bit of free software, we’ve been able to get the game “Get Medieval” to work perfectly on Windows 8. No more sluggish dungeons when trying to play this game on a modern PC! You can read the updated game guide for Get Medieval here.
