I have been spending some time with the excellent PC port of Silent Hill 2 recently. Getting this classic game running was one of the challenges that inspired me to create this website in the first place. Digging a little deeper into the game we discovered that it does in fact have a full surround sound soundtrack. The bad news is that you absolutely must have a copy of Windows XP in order to enjoy it. We’ve updated the article here with this information and a few other observations too.
