In this tongue in cheek adventure game you will play the part of a photographer, who makes his or her sleazy living by stalking celebrities and snapping revealing and often embarrassing photographs of them. Once you’ve snapped the unlucky celeb, you will need to sell your photos to the highest bidder. To win the game you will need to snap 24 unsuspecting hollywood hotshots.
Installing and Playing Paparazzi
This game uses a 16 bit installer and so won’t install on 64 bit versions of Windows at all. The game itself will start on 64 bit versions of Windows, but it depends on an old/obsolete version of Apple Quicktime for playing its video content. With a more modern version of Quicktime, the game simply doesn’t play any video content at all, rendering the game unplayable.
The easiest way to play this game is to use a Windows XP virtual machine. We recommend VMWare Player. If you’re not familiar with VMWare player, see these tutorials.
When installing the game in Windows XP, make sure to install Quicktime from the Paparazzi game disc (the installer will offer to do this for you while installing the game). This legacy version shouldn’t conflict with more recent versions, but we can’t completely guarantee that it won’t.
The game also shipped for computers running MS DOS, this version of the game may run in the popular DOSBox utility, though we haven’t tested it.
