VMware tutorials added

Over on Top-Windows-Tutorials.com we’ve just added a whole set of tutorials for installing VMware, creating a Windows XP virtual machine and installing a game on the virtual machine. For those of you who aren’t familiar, virtual machine software allows you to run a simulated or virtual computer on top of your existing operating system. You can run Windows XP in its own window on your Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC, isolated from the rest of your operating system. Of course this is a great way to run older software without needing to keep an XP box around. If you’re still not convinced, check out the article “Are virtual machines for me?“.

Head on over to this page on Top-Windows-Tutorials.com to view the tutorials and get started. In the tutorials we install and run the game “Breath of Fire IV”, but the techniques we demonstrate apply to virtually any game or utility you’d want to run on an old XP box.
